A high-performance, technology-focused trading organization is seeking experienced C++ Engineers to design, build, and optimize large-scale automated trading systems. This role involves close collaboration with quantitative researchers and traders to develop next-generation algorithms, strategies, and infrastructure for trading across multiple markets.
Overview
A leading technology-driven financial trading firm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong front-end expertise. This role focuses on building modern, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces that directly support traders, researchers, and risk teams. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the financial markets industry and a passion for designing intuitive, responsive applications that enhance user workflows without compromising security or reliability.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and contribute to the long-term technical direction for the firm's front-end systems.

  • Design and develop performant trading and risk management interfaces using modern web technologies such as React, TypeScript, Redux, Jest, and Webpack.

  • Collaborate closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and backend engineers to deliver new tools and improve existing platforms.

  • Work with security and risk teams to ensure applications are both safe and trustworthy.

  • Mentor junior developers, promoting coding standards and best practices.

  • Build internal tools that streamline workflows in areas like data analysis and risk management.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience developing and deploying front-end applications with modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred).

  • Professional experience within a financial trading firm, hedge fund, or similar market-focused organization.

  • Proven ability to ship products end-to-end, from design through deployment.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with end users to understand needs and deliver solutions.

  • Up-to-date knowledge of modern front-end practices, including performance optimization, usability, and security.
  • Commitment to writing clean, well-tested, maintainable code.
