Pay rate $90-95/hr w2


Position Summary:
Medical Center is seeking a Senior Application Analyst (SAA) with certification in Epic Beacon and Willow, and a strong background in pharmacy to support our growing oncology research initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a pharmacist's clinical expertise, paired with Epic build experience, to manage and optimize the research medication and protocol build process. This role will be responsible for the end-to-end build, including alignment with Medical Center's internal processes for validation, testing, and change control.

The SAA will also participate in quality assurance (Q&A) for research protocols built by other team members, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clinical relevance. Candidates with prior experience in oncology research are strongly preferred. This is a 100% remote position. Candidates must be able to work independently and collaborate virtually with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Build research medication and protocols in Epic Beacon and Willow to support Medical Center's oncology research studies.


  • Collaborate with clinical, research, and IT stakeholders to ensure protocol builds align with study requirements and Medical Center's internal workflows.


  • Follow Medical Center's established processes for build validation, testing, and change order management.


  • Conduct thorough Q&A reviews on Beacon research builds completed by other analysts, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality.


  • Participate in regular team meetings, status updates, and strategic planning sessions.


  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Beacon and Willow for research-related build work.


  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for all build and validation processes.


    Required:


    • Epic Certification in Beacon and Willow


    • Licensed Pharmacist (RPh or PharmD)


    • Proven experience with research protocol build in Epic


    • Deep understanding of clinical workflows, medication management, and protocol-driven care


    • Strong communication and collaboration skills


    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to build accuracy and process adherence

    • Experience with oncology research studies


    • Familiarity with IRB protocols and clinical trial workflows
