HOT NEW ROLE –LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday 11A-7P, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 9: 00 AM –5: 00 PM
Pay Rate: Up to $42/hr depending on experience

Bilingual Spanish: A Plus!

Overview:
We are seeking an LPN for a 3-month contract to support a busy outpatient clinical team. The ideal candidate must have pediatric experience (age 5+) and women's health experience. This role involves performing clinical nursing functions, assisting practitioners, providing patient education, and ensuring continuity of care for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient screening, discharge, and education under RN supervision.

  • Take vital signs, administer medications and immunizations, and perform procedures such as EKGs, hearing/vision tests, bone density, and glucose checks.

  • Assist providers with exams and minor procedures;maintain accurate clinical documentation.

  • Process labs, referrals, and imaging requests;follow up on abnormal results and missed appointments.

  • Maintain exam rooms, supplies, emergency kits, and infection control standards.

  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure continuity of patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Required: High School Diploma, graduation from an approved School of Practical Nursing, active NYS LPN License, and pediatric (age 5+) and women's health experience.

  • Preferred: Experience in ambulatory, clinic, or ER setting;Associate Degree in Nursing;Phlebotomy certification;bilingual (English/Spanish).

  • EMR experience and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook & Word.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and patient care skills.
