Job Description


This position requires onsite work four days a week and involves a 3-6 month contract-to-hire (CTH) arrangement. Expertise in Cisco, VMware, and Citrix is essential.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage the design, implementation, and upkeep of the organization's network infrastructure, including servers, backup solutions, cloud services, routers, switches, and load balancers.
  • Promote a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
  • Lead efforts to troubleshoot and resolve network outages and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with the CTO to enforce security best practices for firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and network hardening.
  • Monitor network traffic to anticipate future capacity needs and budget requirements.
  • Report security events to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to documented policies and procedures.
  • Oversee unified communications performance and ensure technology is up-to-date.
  • Stay informed about security vulnerabilities to maintain system integrity and availability.
  • Continuously seek improvements in network service capabilities.
  • Escalate critical issues to upper management as needed.
  • Encourage team development and growth.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Provide support to managers and colleagues.
  • Complete all required Bank training within specified timelines.
Qualifications
  • Three to five years of management experience in network architecture and operations.
  • Technical certifications or equivalent experience are advantageous.
  • Experience with cloud and virtualization technologies.
  • Five to ten years of technical support experience with increasing responsibilities.

Drew Anson is Chief Delivery Officer at Phaxis, a Workforce Solutions Company based in New York.

Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.

He holds a degree from Central Michigan University in Sales & Marketing.
