Title: Special Education Teacher
Location: Brookline, Massachusetts
Pay Rate: Up to $50+ / hour

As a K–12 school-based Special Education Teacher in Brookline, Massachusetts,
your days will include

  • Developing and implementing individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals

  • Collaborating with co-teachers, educational counselors, and service providers

  • Supporting students’academic and social-emotional growth in inclusive and small-group settings

  • Monitoring progress and adjusting instruction based on student data

  • Participating in IEP meetings, family conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions

Job Details
Position: Contract –Full 2025–2026 Academic Year
Dates: August 2025 –June/July 2026
Hours: Full-time (37.5–40 hours/week, Monday –Friday)
Caseload:

  • Option 1: Self-contained classroom of 6–8 students with an Education Counselor

  • Option 2: Co-teaching in an inclusion classroom of 14 students

Successful Candidates Possess

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education (required)

  • An active or pending Massachusetts teaching license in Special Education, or the ability to obtain (required)

  • Experience in a school or pediatric setting (preferred)

  • The ability to work in the U.S. Without a sponsor

  • Note: new graduates are welcome to apply

Drew Anson is Chief Delivery Officer at Phaxis, a Workforce Solutions Company based in New York.

In this role, Drew leads the delivery and recruiting working closely with the leadership team to define a model that is efficient at supporting the firm s current needs and is scalable for future growth.

Drew is a seasoned executive with more than 13 years of Services & Recruitment experience. In that time, he has supported numerous Fortune 100/500/1000 organizations across industries by providing global workforce solutions, namely resources and thought leadership for large-scale projects, implementations, and managed services.

Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.

He holds a degree from Central Michigan University in Sales & Marketing.
