Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Danbury, CT –$36–$45/HR

We’re looking for an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to join a fast-paced surgical team supporting a variety of outpatient procedures. 
 

Pay: $36–$45/hour
 

What You’ll Do

•Prepare operating rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment for scheduled procedures
•Set up and maintain the sterile field throughout surgical cases
•Anticipate surgeons’needs and safely pass instruments, sutures, sponges, and other supplies
•Assist with surgical specimens, dressings, room turnover, and instrument processing
•Follow all infection prevention, sterile technique, patient safety, and OSHA standards
•Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient procedures

Surgical Environment

Procedures may include orthopedic, plastic surgery, laser, local, and other outpatient surgical cases.
 

What We’re Looking For

•Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
•CST certification preferred
•Current CPR certification required
•Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and OR procedures
•Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
•Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
