Job Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team in Williston Park. The position offers a schedule from Monday through Thursday, with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. We are looking for candidates interested in a temporary to permanent position.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
  • Ensure patients are comfortable and provide them with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
  • Perform office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer.
  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Provide patients with information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a dental assistant is preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations in a dental setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and reliable.
