Job Description

A boutique accounting firm, founded in 1990 as an alternative to a national firm. This firm has 5 locations in Florida is looking for a Tax Senior and/or a Tax Associate in the Florida area. The position will be at either hybrid or fully remote depending on area to where the employee resides. The firm offers tax planning and preparation, auditing and accounting, and QuickBooks assistance to small and medium size businesses at competitive prices without sacrificing quality.

•Professional Employer Organizations

•Common Interest

Must Have Qualifications:
  • Hold Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of recent public accounting experience
  • Experience with corporate, partnership, individual, non-profits or trust tax accounting
  • Ability to anticipate and address client concerns and escalating issues as they arise
  • Ability to self-direct and manage multiple deadlines
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks, Client Suite of Products and Microsoft Office products

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
The Tax Senior will join a team in preparation of returns while assisting in the development of newer employees in a location. The position can lead to a Tax Manager position that will include client facing responsibilities to ensure the office continues to grow.

Compensation: $85, 000 - $125, 000
