Title: Recreational Therapist Part Time
 
Location: Quartz Hill, CA
Pay Rate: $53 -$ 55 / hour

As a School based Recreational Therapist in Quartz Hill, CA, your days will include providing direct student care such as: 
  • Deliver therapy interventions as directed by the supervising therapist or teacher and outlined in students’IEPs.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor and document student progress toward therapy goals.
  • Support the use of adaptive tools and strategies to promote student independence.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate strategies into the classroom routine.
  • Prepare and maintain materials and equipment used in therapy sessions.
  • Ensure documentation and service delivery meet all district, state, and federal guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association
  • NATIONAL or CA Recreational Therapist Certificate
  • Bachelors Degree in related field
  • Previous experience in pediatric or educational settings preferred.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Supervision:
Works under the supervision of a licensed Therapist.
 
Job Details
Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
Hours: Part-time 20 hours per week to start (Monday - Friday)
Caseload: Elementary School

Drew Anson is Chief Delivery Officer at Phaxis, a Workforce Solutions Company based in New York.

Drew is a seasoned executive with more than 13 years of Services & Recruitment experience. In that time, he has supported numerous Fortune 100/500/1000 organizations across industries by providing global workforce solutions, namely resources and thought leadership for large-scale projects, implementations, and managed services.

Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.

He holds a degree from Central Michigan University in Sales & Marketing.
