Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Catskill, NY
Pay Rate: $65–$80 per hour + benefits

As a K–12 school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving the Catskill, NY area, you will deliver essential speech and language services that support students’communication development and academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments

  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and therapy plans

  • Provide individual and small-group therapy sessions

  • Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate communication strategies into the classroom

  • Track student progress, collect data, and adjust interventions as needed

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

  • Ensure documentation and practices comply with district and state regulations

Job Details

  • Position: Contract role in a school setting (with option to extend into the 2025–2026 school year based on mutual interest)

  • Hours: Typically around 20 hours per week;currently seeking coverage of 30–35+ hours weekly

  • Caseload: K–12 students, assignments based on district needs

Successful Candidates Possess

  • A valid New York State SLP license (required)

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred;CFs considered

  • School-based or pediatric experience (preferred)

  • Strong collaborative, organizational, and communication skills

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. Without sponsorship
