Title: School Nurse
Location: Whitinsville, MA
Pay Rate: $30–$45+ per hour + benefits

As a K–12 School Nurse in Whitinsville, MA, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing daily medical care and first aid to students and staff

  • Managing chronic health conditions and creating individualized care plans

  • Administering medications and monitoring side effects in accordance with school policies

  • Maintaining accurate health records and documentation in compliance with state regulations

  • Supporting public health initiatives such as immunization tracking and health screenings

  • Collaborating with families, school staff, and healthcare providers to coordinate care

  • Promoting health education and wellness programs within the school community

  • Responding to emergencies and participating in crisis response protocols

Job Details

  • Position: Contract (with potential for renewal) in a school setting

  • Hours: 37.5 per week (Mon–Fri)

  • Setting: K–12 public school district

Successful Candidates Possess

  • A valid Massachusetts license (required)

  • CPR and First Aid certification (required)

  • School nursing or pediatric experience (preferred)

  • Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. Without sponsorship

Drew Anson is Chief Delivery Officer at Phaxis, a Workforce Solutions Company based in New York.

Prior to joining Phaxis predecessor firm Park Hudson in 2021, Drew spent three years at engineering technology and talent solutions firm, Collabera, as Director of Sales in North Carolina. Earlier in his career, he spent nearly eight years at Insight Global, most recently as Sales Manager of the Columbus, OH office.

He holds a degree from Central Michigan University in Sales & Marketing.
