Title: Certified School Nurse

Location: Oak Lawn, IL

Pay Rate: $45–$60 per hour

As a K–12 school-based Certified School Nurse in Oak Lawn, IL, your role will include:

• 
  Assessing and monitoring student health to ensure a safe and supportive school environment
• 
  Providing first aid, administering medications, and managing chronic conditions for students
• 
  Responding promptly to health emergencies and coordinating emergency care when necessary
• 
  Maintaining accurate student health records and ensuring compliance with school health policies
• 
  Collaborating closely with educators, families, and other support staff to support student wellbeing
• 
  Educating students, staff, and parents on health practices and preventive care

Job Details

• 
  Position: Contract (with an option to renew) in a school setting
• 
  Hours: 37.5 per week (Mon-Fri)
• 
  Caseload: Middle School, Writing all IEPs and 504s

Successful Candidates Possess

• 
  A valid, current nursing license in IL and certification as a School Nurse (required) - Will accept ISBE 
• 
  Experience working in a pediatric or school setting (preferred)
• 
  The ability to work in the U.S. Without sponsorship
