Job Description

Qualifications
  • Must possess a current CNA certification
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods
  • Must be compassionate and patient with all types of patients
  • Responsibilities
  • The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will assist patients with their basic needs, such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and administering medications
  • This role is vital in ensuring patients receive quality care while providing a compassionate and caring attitude
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating
  • Monitor patients'vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate
  • Administer medications and document all medication administration in the patient's chart
  • Keep patient rooms clean and tidy
  • Help patients with mobility, including using walkers or wheelchairs, and positioning them in beds or chairs
  • Record all care provided to patients accurately and timely
  • Report any changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team
  • Respond to patient calls in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the healthcare team
